Because every picture tells a story and I’m here to tell yours.

My goal with portrait sessions is to give you a mix of intimate and candid.  Posed for your grandparent’s wall and a mix of everything else for you. Of course, this will vary with the type of session you desire, but this is my general motto.

Family is everything and it is so very important you document it with photographs!  Whether it be a milestone, new marriage, illness, or just wanting to update your walls with new art, portraiture has come a long way in the last 20 years.  

Most people opt not to go to a department store studio anymore for the flatly lit, boring formal portraits – let me take you to a favorite spot to get some sunset portraits that you will want to look at for years down the road.  I will consult with you on wardrobe at least two weeks prior to your session to help coordinate the perfectly.
