Abilene TX Family Photographer - 41 Creek Family Session
Well, how was everyone’s Halloween? Did your kid’s get buckets upon buckets of candy? More importantly, did they pay the parent tax? I highly suggest Reese’s and Butterfinger!
My sister (Shannon) and I took Willow around the neighborhood last night for probably a solid hour. Her treat bag was about half full when Shannon realized her phone was not on her person or in my car. I called it and a very nice woman answered, letting us know that she found her phone in the middle of the street and took it to her house in hopes the owner would call. I promise you, my sister has some dang good luck, y’all! We trekked the 0.7 miles to their house, got the phone after thanking her profusely, and she had her boys top off Willow’s bag (she was ready to wrap her night up, too).
Of course, we must inspect the candy when we get home, right? I would say Willow got a wide range of candy but this year I am all about the Nerds candy – except for Guava. Guava does not taste good, y’all. Not a fan. Seriously Strawberry flavor is the best – I hope I can find some when I get home! Have you even seen the Guava flavor? It must be new, I’ve never seen it before. Comment below if you’ve tried it or like it!
Alright, enough about Halloween, I wanted to share a recent family session out at 41 Creek Ranch. I’ve been shooting out there a lot recently because you just don’t have a better view in Abilene! Take a look at the pictures and see for yourself!
The boys were so well behaved, and I was able to get some great portraits that will look fantastic on their walls for years to come. Even the youngest, who wasn’t feeling all that well, cooperated and looked at the camera! That’s not always the case with two and three-year olds.
Abbie had her family dressed perfectly and we even had some time to change their outfits to show off cowboy hats, boots, and belts with their names on them. How cute is that?
After we got family formal shots out of the day we took some time to focus on candid moments and some special time with mom and dad only – I really try to make this happen as often as possible. With children in the house, as I can attest, there isn’t a lot of me time.
Enjoy the gallery! I have multiple blogs coming in the next week or two focusing on weddings, family, and lifestyle sessions!
November is fully booked at this time, but I do have a few December dates to choose from as well as the winter months. 2020 weddings are now booking and if you’d like to schedule a consult, shoot me a message here.
Have a great weekend!
