Fall Engagement Session in Ft. Worth | Dallas Ft. Worth Wedding Photographer
Happy…2021! I mean, has it been happy for y’all? Are we a little better off than we were a couple months ago?
It’s been eventful here, to say the least. We got my 6-year-old a Labradoodle puppy for Christmas and I am quite sure she is more of a terror than my daughter ever thought of being. If you turn your back for one small second of time she either has toilet paper from the bathroom in her mouth or a tennis shoe. Or a stuffed animal. Or literally anything with mouth’s reach (dead serious). I didn’t know Labradoodles were this feisty! I have two Corgi’s as well, and they are so lazy that I’m betting they didn’t even think about being mischievous when they were pups.
Outside of new puppies and trying to maintain property damage, I’m getting ready to dive in head first into the busy wedding season! I have couples all over the state getting ready to say “I Do” here shortly and I cannot wait to document it for them. Which brings me to this blog’s subject!
I met Blake and Christine in Azle for a gorgeous engagement session back in the fall. And yes, I’m just now getting around to sharing all these rich and dreamy colors with you but better late than never!
I drove over on a Saturday to catch the couple in a sunset glow and Eagle Mountain Park did not disappointment me in the slightest. There are multiple trails you can take all around the area and you can even go down to the water (unfortunately we weren’t dressed for that and it was a little too warm). I found the most perfect pocket of light in a little alcove and I knew that’s where I was going to get the bulk of their session completed when the light was peeking in through the trees.
Rather than bore you to tears with a lot of words, I’m going to just let their session do the talking. I’m a big fan of sharing most, if not all, of a sessions images. That way you can truly see what I deliver on average for a client and know what to expect.
Blogs are going to be coming on the regular now that we have a little bit of breathing room, so look for couples, babies, and nuptials in the future. Have a safe and blessed week y’all, chat soon!
