Haaaaaaappy Hump Day, Folks!
We’re almost there. Almost. If you put your nose in the air and take a big whiff you might even smell a little bit of Friday. You can’t smell that? It smells kind of like bacon. Or money.
What a week! What a weekend! I second shot a wedding with a local photographer on Saturday and my word was it hot! Thank goodness the couple chose to have the event inside! Even being inside, wedding photography is no joke. It is not just clicking the shutter, there’s a lot of work that goes into it before your final gallery is delivered. Give your photographer a hug next time you see them - they deserve it! We sweat our rear ends off.
Anywho, back to the subject at hand.
I’ve known DeAnna for roughly four years now. She was a friend of a mutual friend who kindly gave her my name as I was starting photography. She was my first maternity shoot and I remember it like yesterday. She wanted outdoor, sunset, beautiful pictures but I’m pretty sure it either rained or was super windy that day so we decided to do them indoors. To this day, they are still some of my favorite images. Here’s probably my favorite of the set:
Since then, DeAnna and Nate have added another sweet little boy to their family. I’ve done newborn, family, Christmas. I am honored to call her my friend at the end of the day.
We went out to 41 Creek Ranch a few weeks ago to do another family session and it was magical. Unfortunately, I knew she was a little concerned that I might not have gotten enough content to give them a full gallery but I knew I did. It was awesome. So, without further procrastination, here are my favorites of their 2019 family session!
